BBQ brainstorm: sizzle, savor and strategize

Client:

AfriMama

Year:

2024

AfriMama's BBQ Brainstorm event gathered stakeholders and community members for a collaborative discussion focused on enhancing the lives of immigrants in Winnipeg. The event aimed to identify pressing challenges, develop effective mitigation strategies, and create programs to improve quality of life. Stakeholders shared valuable insights and information about their services, while AfriMama presented a report on issues identified by immigrant youth at a prior event in June. Together, participants explored the best approaches to integrate into programs to support the success of immigrant youth. These discussions were instrumental in shaping AfriMama’s strategic plan moving forward.
